“No snacks, no seconds, no sweets — except on days that begin with the letter S.”
The sweet insightful words of Michael Pollan from his new book “Food Rules: An Eater’s Manual”.
Its going to be on my 'to-read' list for certain. You may have heard of the author from his other food and nutrition books; “In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto” and “The Omnivore’s Dilemma.” Within the new book Pollan outlines 64 principles for sensible eating.
Check out this review in the New York Times.

I watched a documentary this guy was in - Food Inc. It was really good. He had a very balanced view as opposed to the more recent one sided Michael Moore view of the world.
ReplyDeleteQuite scary though ...
